CS 10 Canadian Purple Natural Slate
The CS10 is quarried from the extensive slate deposits of Newfoundland. The Cambrian formation has undergone great metamorphic compression resulting in the hardest and most durable slate in the world. Utilising laser guided diamond saws and pneumatic hammers a slate of consistent thickness and quality is obtained.
The exceptional performance of the CS10 slate is due to its mineral composition.
The absence of calcium carbonates makes the slate unfading in its colour.
By achieving the highest classification in all international standards
this slate has a 'serviceable' life in excess of 100 years
