Acoustic - The perforation system used allow us to achieve the required level from 2.75% up to 39% of surface loss. We perforate from 4mm to 18mm thickness using the latest scribe and auger for precise clean shoulder cutting.

Machined to specification of patterns either square or diamond or slots as required, with variation of boarders to suit your decor. We currently stock the Public Works Department standard requirement of 4.5 hole @ 12mm centres in 9mm.(= 10% open area)
Fire Retardant - Our unique treatment process eliminates surface residue and discolouring. And excellent surface for clear finish, lime wash painting or staining.

Each sheet is stamped on the back to identify it's treatment and "A Certificate of Fire Retardancy" is issued on completion for the particular project. The process is certified by C.S.I.R.O. to AS 1530 Part 3 which provides for Spread of Flame Index 0 (0-10) and Smoke Developed Index 3 (0-10).
Termiply - Termite resistant to comply with AS1604.

We can also perforate veneered ply and M.D.F. board subject to their suitability for perforating. Normally, Sonaply is manufactured from Hoop Pine ply (Bunya, Radiata also available) in thicknesses 3mm to 25mm, sanded two sides, select `A' grade in standard sizes 2400x1200mm but also available in 1800x900mm up to 2700x1200mm.
